Self Awareness & Acceptance

Our understanding of, and ability for thriving relationship with others, begins with the awareness and acceptance of ourselves.  Awareness begins with developing skills in focus, emotional intelligence, and self control.  The therapeutic relationship hones these skills by creating a safe space for processing thought and emotion, while incorporating psychological knowledge and utilizing skill-building techniques including meditation, journaling, behavioral modification, boundaries awareness, and values identification. 

 

Self awareness is the central tenet of any psychological growth and emotional healing.  Your ability to connect deeply with yourself and others starts with you showing up authentically.
